Michelle Mckinnon

My expertise and passion lies in identifying natural strengths and interests in clients and aligning them to the job market and further education options.  With an optimistic, yet realistic approach to careers counselling, I have helped thousands of young adults successfully identify and work towards their career goals.

My methodology focusses on finding that delicate balance between what comes naturally to an individual and aligning that with current job market trends to work towards a sustainable career.

Having worked in a world leading Australian university careers advisory service and international student recruitment for over twenty years, I have built expertise and gained insights into career pathways and graduate recruitment practices across many industries and study areas, from arts to commerce to science,  medicine, law , agriculture and many more ……

With an in-depth knowledge of the Australian labour market and recruitment practices, along with well-developed counselling techniques, I can genuinely say I love my role in assisting school leavers and young adults looking for advice on “what’s next?”

In addition to a Masters degree in Arts and languages, I also hold postgraduate qualifications in career development. I am a professional member of the National Association of Graduate Careers Advisory services and a certified practitioner in Harrison Assessments.
